Our history

Andy's PGM is based in Sarasota and has served the Greater Sarasota area since 1988. Andy has been licensed since he started the company. It now operates as three divisions under one name: the Andy's PGM Tree Division, the Andy's PGM Landscape Division, and Andy's PGM Professional Grounds Maintenance.

Most of our work today is project work, mainly tree jobs and landscape installations, priced at or below the going rate. We also maintain a short list of condo associations and common grounds.

Born and raised here

Andy was born and raised here and went to high school here. His customers are his neighbors, and he runs the business with that in mind.

I gotta see my customers in the grocery store.

Cleaning up

Our claim to fame is we always clean up well. I don't like leaving stuff for the customer to have to do.

Brush and wood are hauled away, the lawn is raked, and the driveway and roof are cleared before the crew leaves.

Wildlife

Trees are home to birds, squirrels and other animals. We don't disturb nests or animal habitat. We check before we cut and work around what's living there. Andy keeps up with the local rules on protected species.

Equipment

Bucket trucks, track loaders, dump trucks and trailers, a chipper and a stump grinder. For trees that need it, we bring in a crane.
