Tree Removal
Dead, damaged or unwanted trees taken down safely, including big trees close to the house.
We grind stumps down below the surface so you can put grass or a planting bed back over the spot.

A stump can be pulled or ground. Pulling digs out the whole root ball, which leaves a large hole and disturbs a lot of the yard. Grinding cuts the stump down below the surface with a rotating wheel, and the roots are left to break down underground.
For most yards, grinding is the better option. More in stump grinding: what to expect.
Our grinder can work right up against paver walkways and planting beds, as in the photos on this page. If the stump is in a fenced backyard, mention it when you call so we can check access.
The spot will have a mound of chips mixed with soil, and the ground will settle as the chips break down. If you’re planting there, add soil first. For a larger project, our landscape division can take it from there.

Tell us a little about the job and we'll call you back to set up a time to come take a look. Estimates are free.
